Parents & Grandparents

Canadian citizens and permanent residents may bring their parents and grandparents to Canada through one of two popular programs: Family Class sponsorship and/or the Super Visa program.

Now you help your parents and Grandparents acquire Canadian citizenship

The remarkable Parent and Grandparent Sponsorship program, just as the Super Visa program, enables Canadian residents and permanent inhabitants to sponsor parents and grandparents who wish to be brought together with their children and grandchildren.

Canadian residents and permanent residents can bring their Parents and Grandparents to Canada through one of two ways: The Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP) and/or the Super Visa program.

Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP)

Canada’s Family Class sponsorship program incorporates a stream devoted to parents and grandparents of Canadian residents and permanent occupants. Guardians and grandparents endorsed under this program get Canadian permanent habitation and may, in the long run, have the option to apply for Canadian citizenship.

Parents and Grandparents Super Visa Program

Canadian residents and/or permanent inhabitants have another choice to bring their parents or grandparent to Canada.

The Super Visa Program enables parents and grandparents to come to Canada as long-haul guests on a multi-passage visa which remains valid for upto 10 years. Dissimilar to standard guest visas, Super Visa permits visa holders to remain in Canada for as long as two years upon initial entry to Canada.
