The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) fall under the umbrella of the Express Entry system. FSTP is meant for skilled workers who are willing to become permanent residents (PR) of Canada upon being qualified in a trade listed by the Canadian federal government. To submit an application under the FSTP, interested candidates first need to ensure that they meet the requirements of the program and then proceed to apply through the Express Entry system stating FSTP as their program of choice.
